About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Software Firewalls at Palo Alto Networks will serve as the voice and go-to-market driver for the Cloud Network Security business. This role involves collaborating with product management and cross-functional teams to define and execute marketing strategies, positioning, and messaging for software firewall products. The manager will create impactful marketing content and educate sales and marketing teams on product value, contributing to the company's mission of enhancing cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop narratives and materials that help customers understand the value of Software Firewalls.
  • Translate technical features and capabilities into compelling differentiators.
  • Create impactful product marketing content, including datasheets, whitepapers, blogs, and presentations.
  • Define, implement, and collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams on go-to-market strategy for new launches and campaigns.
  • Act as the primary thought leader for the products supported externally, including speaking engagements and content development.
  • Educate and excite Sales, GTM, and field marketing teams on product customer and business value.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6+ years in product marketing, preferably in cybersecurity and cloud networking.
  • Experience leading company and solution-wide product launches and releases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including developing webinars and delivering presentations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in creating marketing strategies for cybersecurity products.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking technologies.
