About the position

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Carta, you will focus on the Venture Capital (VC) segment, driving product launches and sustaining market presence. Your role will involve deep engagement with the VC fund CFO persona, designing marketing strategies, and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful product positioning and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Bring deep investment in the VC fund CFO persona and the buying group to product launches.
  • Design launches across all tiers, from new product introductions to customer retention upgrades.
  • Partner with the GTM team on RACI design and evolutions for launch tiers.
  • Decide the bill of materials (BOM) required for each launch tier and ensure delivery against BOM.
  • Deploy impactful PMM planning and prioritization in conjunction with the wider marketing team.
  • Evaluate and decide on product marketing investments needed for success.
  • Inform pricing strategy and decision making through market research and GTM analysis.
  • Develop and curate performant marketing assets including product collateral and campaign materials.
  • Work closely with Creative and Program Management teams to deliver aligned marketing assets.
  • Enable strong creative execution through high-quality briefs.
  • Operate cross-functionally with partners and stakeholders in various departments.
  • Create marketing strategies for existing products informed by customer research.
  • Act as a key owner in analytics for launch performance and GTM strategy.
  • Partner with Integrated Marketing to reflect product objectives in campaigns.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing on paid activations to support GTM objectives.
  • Work closely with Growth Marketing on upsell/cross-sell motions.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other teams to influence product development.
  • Be present in the market via owned and external events.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on product marketing/GTM experience.
  • Preferably SaaS fintech experience and/or product marketing experience at companies serving VC or similar investor types.
  • Motivation to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to diagnose and drive towards solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to distill complex thoughts into actionable value propositions.
