As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the go-to-market strategy for our Security Awareness product and services, which are positioned in a high-growth market. You will be the expert on our buyers and competitors, laying the foundation for market success while partnering closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams to build and execute a comprehensive go-to-market plan. In your day-to-day activities, you will establish yourself as a thought leader in the rapidly transforming human risk management domain, creating compelling messaging and content that highlights our differentiated value. You will coordinate with sales leadership to define sales support initiatives and create effective enablement content that helps sellers identify opportunities and communicate our unique value. Additionally, you will plan the launches of new releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of these plans, presenting at industry events and customer briefings as the primary thought leader for the products and services you support. This role requires a driven self-starter who is a diplomatic collaborator and a strategic thinker. You will need to exercise sound judgment on when to push back and when to dive in, ensuring that our products are differentiated and lead their respective markets. Your contributions will directly impact our customers' ability to protect their greatest assets and biggest security risks: their people.

Responsibilities

  • Drive go-to-market strategy for Proofpoint Security Awareness product and services.
  • Become the expert on security awareness buyers, understanding their buying criteria and behaviors.
  • Build strong working relationships across product management, corporate marketing, and sales to design and execute the go-to-market strategy.
  • Establish thought leadership in the human risk management domain, promoting a holistic approach to behavior change.
  • Create compelling messaging and content such as webinars, blogs, and solution briefs that highlight our differentiated value.
  • Coordinate with sales leadership to define sales support initiatives and create effective enablement content.
  • Plan the launches of new releases and manage cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Present at industry events, customer briefings, and sales training as the primary thought leader for the products/solutions/services you support.
  • Explore growth opportunities by aligning our go-to-market strategy with channel partners.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise security.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or technical concentration.
  • Proven experience marketing to enterprises and technical buyers.
  • Demonstrated ability to converse across technical and sales audiences with a concise message.
  • Passion for knowing the market and translating that expertise into actionable go-to-market plans.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to execute tactically and manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and highly developed interpersonal skills to lead and inspire a diverse team.
  • Ability to articulate unique value propositions at both the product and solution levels.
  • Strong public speaking skills and comfort in front of large, senior groups.

Nice-to-haves
