About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at Proofpoint will lead the go-to-market strategy for the Security Awareness product and services, focusing on a high-growth market. This role requires expertise in understanding buyers and competitors, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and creating impactful marketing assets to drive business growth. The position emphasizes the importance of customer focus and teamwork in a dynamic cybersecurity environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive go-to-market strategy for Proofpoint Security Awareness products and services.
• Become the expert on security awareness buyers, understanding their needs and buying criteria.
• Build strong relationships across product management, corporate marketing, and sales to execute the go-to-market strategy.
• Establish thought leadership in the human risk management domain.
• Create compelling messaging and content to highlight differentiated value for target buyers.
• Coordinate with sales leadership to define sales support initiatives and create enablement content.
• Plan and manage the launches of new releases, ensuring cross-functional implementation.
• Present at industry events, customer briefings, and sales training as the primary thought leader for supported products.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise security.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or technical concentration.
• Proven experience marketing to enterprises and technical buyers.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to execute tactically and manage multiple projects.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Ability to articulate unique value propositions at both product and solution levels.
• Strong public speaking skills and solid writing ability.
