About the position

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in the go-to-market strategy for Censys, focusing on establishing the company's leadership in the cybersecurity market. This position requires collaboration across various departments to effectively position products and engage with sales and customers as a subject matter expert in security.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the unique value proposition of products with a clear understanding of target markets and buyer personas.
  • Work with product and marketing teams to develop and execute a consistent product launch process.
  • Author compelling, high-quality product content in various formats including print, web, social media, and video.
  • Collaborate with content and demand generation teams to drive a marketing strategy that meets or exceeds pipeline, bookings, and conversion targets.
  • Build and execute plans that cross different functional groups, including product management, business development, and sales.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of sales enablement materials to enhance sales productivity and pipeline conversion.
  • Engage in analyst relations with firms like Gartner and Forrester.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to understand and document personas, use cases, and common objections.
  • Analyze win/loss reporting, close rates, and other key funnel metrics to inform product marketing direction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in product marketing or a related field in a B2B SaaS organization, with cybersecurity experience being a plus.
  • Strong communication, time management, writing, and project management skills.
  • Experience working with sales teams, product management, press, and industry analysts.
  • Highly organized with superior communication and presentation skills; self-managed and proactive.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding environment requiring high deadline-driven productivity, commitment, adaptability, communication, initiative, and follow-through.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling messaging for diverse audiences, including C-level security leaders and technical security practitioners.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
