About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager for Commercial Products at Team Cymru is responsible for being the expert voice in the market for Threat Feed and Attack Surface Management products. This role involves understanding buyer needs, supporting sales teams, and contributing to content development to drive impactful solutions in Internet security.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market intelligence to understand buyers, their purchasing behavior, and key buying criteria.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape in Cyber Threat Intelligence and Attack Surface Management.
  • Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop effective product positioning and messaging.
  • Research and document the buyer's process, including their information sources and decision-making criteria.
  • Drive changes to sales and marketing processes based on market insights.
  • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan for the products, including key activities and budgets.
  • Assess the effectiveness of marketing programs and provide analytical metrics for ongoing support.
  • Plan and manage the launches of new products and updates to existing products.
  • Act as the primary thought leader for Threat Feed and Attack Surface Management products, preparing materials for speaking engagements and written works.
  • Train the sales team on product solutions and develop internal tools and external collateral.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a market-facing role.
  • Experience working with channel partners, including MSSPs.
  • Excellent people and management skills for interaction with staff and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in productivity applications such as Trello, GoogleDocs, and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Cyber Security market, specifically in Threat Intelligence and/or Attack Surface Management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Pragmatic Institute Certified (PMC) or equivalent certification.
  • Strong writing skills or copywriting experience.
