About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at MongoDB will focus on positioning the company as a leader in the developer data platform space. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create and execute strategic marketing plans that resonate with developers, ensuring they understand the value of MongoDB's offerings. The manager will also be responsible for empowering sales and marketing teams with effective messaging and content, while serving as a subject matter expert to drive awareness of MongoDB's products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Marketing, Developer Relations, Product Management, Partner Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to create and execute strategic plans.
• Empower Growth Marketing, Product-Led Growth, and Sales teams with effective positioning, messaging, and content.
• Develop messaging, go-to-market strategies, and content such as decks, tutorials, and white papers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to drive awareness of MongoDB's developer data platform.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or developer relations, particularly with B2B SaaS or developer-facing products.
• Understanding of the database market, programming languages, frameworks, and developer tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create impactful messaging under tight deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in collaborative environments and engage effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A low ego-to-talent ratio and collaborative spirit.

Nice-to-haves

• Degree in Computer Science or completion of a coding bootcamp.
• Previous experience with a database, developer tools, or cloud provider.
• Marketing experience related to GenAI.
