As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Sonatus, you will bring your technical marketing expertise and storytelling ability to shape the messaging, positioning, and outbound marketing for one or more of our product offerings. You have a robust technical marketing background in passenger and commercial automotive solutions, a creative edge in storytelling, and the ability to translate complex software concepts into clear, impactful narratives. You have a proven track record in executing marketing campaigns that have led to meaningful results in marketing qualified leads (MQLs). You are passionate about technology, adaptable, and skilled in multimodal marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Own Product Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear, compelling messaging that differentiates Sonatus' products in the market.
  • Content Creation: Create high-impact PowerPoint presentations, white papers, case studies, web content, and videos (to be produced by our video agencies) to drive engagement.
  • Market Expertise: Leverage automotive and software expertise to tailor messaging to diverse audiences, including technical and business decision-makers.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to gather insights and craft effective marketing strategies.
  • Campaign Management: Lead outbound messaging strategies for one or more product lines, ensuring brand consistency and resonance with target audiences.
  • Market and Competitive Research: Use primary and secondary research to identify target market segments and distill competitive differentiation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years in product marketing within software solutions; automotive experience, including commercial vehicles, is highly desirable.
  • Technical background, ideally paired with an MBA.
  • Self-starter, resourceful, and skilled at owning all facets of product marketing.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exceptional storytelling, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and skilled in producing concise, impactful presentations.
  • Experience with white paper and case study development, ideally including direct authorship of medium- and long-format content.
  • Experience with multimodal content for demos, audio, and video podcasts.
  • Ability to learn new technologies swiftly and engage with subject matter experts effectively.
