About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at Cadence is responsible for the product management and marketing of the Tensilica extensible processor IP. This role focuses on driving product success through customer engagement, market analysis, and collaboration with sales and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded processors, particularly in automotive, IoT, and mobile devices, and will be instrumental in defining future product requirements and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Drive product success by ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering complete products including necessary collateral, software libraries, and demo platforms.
• Manage major customer programs and generate competitive positioning and strategies.
• Identify new opportunities and define future product requirements for Tensilica's processor technology.
• Coordinate and prioritize product enhancement requests with marketing, engineering, and sales teams.
• Communicate regularly with field applications engineering and sales teams about new technology and industry developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in engineering, applications engineering, or marketing related to embedded processor architectures or SOC design.
• Experience with embedded software tools such as C/C++ compilers and debuggers, and real-time operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processors and/or Machine Learning is desired.
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming is strongly desired.
• Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of DSP architectures and embedded software.
• Experience in marketing embedded CPUs, especially ARM and RISC-V.
