About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at Acquia plays a crucial role in the Product Marketing team, focusing on the marketing strategy and execution for Acquia's Marketing Cloud products, particularly the Customer Data Platform (CDP). This position involves developing go-to-market strategies, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring the successful implementation and tracking of marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Developing go-to-market (GTM) strategies for the Acquia CDP product line.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Cloud Team to identify market opportunities and target buyer personas.
  • Defining routes to market and developing GTM plans and messaging/positioning.
  • Validating the marketing approach and working with a cross-functional team to implement the plan.
  • Tracking and monitoring the success of the plan and revenue for the product.
  • Creating thought leadership and demand generation content with the marketing team.
  • Gaining insights and advancing Acquia CDP coverage through analyst and media relations.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations as a CDP subject matter expert at live events and webinars.
  • Developing sales content and ensuring the field sales team is equipped to sell in collaboration with the sales enablement team.
  • Feeding field and analyst input back into the product roadmap with the product team.
  • Ensuring product retention and growth within the customer base by working with AM/CSM teams.
  • Growing the Acquia CDP footprint with partners through collaboration with the partner team.
  • Optimizing demo strategies with pre-sales teams.
  • Assisting the field in individual deals and sales strategy.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape for the product category.

Requirements

  • Background in marketing and/or customer data technology spaces.
  • Experience with key aspects of product marketing such as evangelism, analyst relations, content creation, and sales enablement.
  • Proven impact on core business KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of the customer data platforms (CDP) market.
  • Proven success working with cross-functional teams for strategic company initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, including written and speaking.
