About the position

Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology is focused on creating magical viewing experiences and transforming Disney's media business. The team is responsible for building the infrastructure that powers Disney's media, advertising, and distribution businesses. The Senior Product Manager II will redefine TV advertising, focusing on product vision, strategy, and execution for audience targeting and segmentation across various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on product strategy and plan for identity, audience segmentation, targeting, and data management for advertising use cases.
  • Work closely with stakeholders from Disney Advertising and partner with content teams and data science.
  • Responsible for product prioritization, including value identification and progress against business strategy.
  • Maintain standards for product specifications, backlog health, and user stories for engineering partners.
  • Act as product owner for a Scrum team, participating in agile ceremonies and responsible for backlog refinement.
  • Tackle problems with a viewer-first mentality.
  • Support evaluation and recommend investments to maximize financial results of the product portfolio.
  • Identify business critical metrics for setting annualized objectives.
  • Partner with Platform Operations to optimize product line health and financial viability.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to execute against the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, preferably from a technology or digital media company.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent Product Management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of audience segmentation, targeting, identity, and clean room technology for advertising.
  • Understanding of sales operations in media organizations.
  • Proven experience and success in a product role.
  • Ability to interact with diverse tech and non-tech partners.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
