About the position

The Digital Product Owner will lead the transition of insurance operations from USRM Small Commercial Business to the GRS Middle Market Business by defining and delivering necessary digital capabilities. This role requires mapping current business processes, identifying gaps, and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize features and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of insurance processes and digital transformation, driving business growth and efficiency through agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a thought leader in product strategy and drive the vision/roadmap for the transition from Small Commercial to Middle Market.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company, acting as a trusted partner to executives and technology teams.
  • Advocate for and embed a product-centric culture within the organization, emphasizing value creation and customer focus.
  • Manage delivery of scope and align on key functional strategic outcomes with the Leadership Team and Business Sponsors.
  • Lead the organization's ongoing agile transformation, driving continuous improvement in product development processes.
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging practices in product development, bringing new ideas to the organization.
  • Mentor and inspire Product Owners, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Define and communicate clear, measurable outcomes (OKRs) for product teams, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Partner with Design Team to ensure customer-driven design is prioritized.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior product leader within agile organizations.
  • Strong track record of successfully driving organizational change and transformation.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies, with experience leading agile transformations.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on product management background and a keen understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience developing high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of USRM Business Lines or GRS Middle Market Operations/Systems is preferred but not required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in business, engineering, technology, and/or consulting.
