About the position

The Senior Product Owner for Core Banking at Nymbus is responsible for overseeing specific products or features within the company's modern core platform. This role involves setting the product vision, managing the product roadmap, and collaborating with various teams to ensure client needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking technology, particularly in deposits, and will act as a subject matter expert (SME) to drive product development and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and effectively communicate a vision for the product both internally and externally
• Create and own the product roadmap, providing timely execution on business objectives
• Serve as the SME, advocate and champion for our Core solution
• Work with both internal and external stakeholders to optimize our Core solutions
• Lead new product development/enhancement initiatives to meet the needs of our clients
• Work closely with Sales and Client Success teams to understand product needs
• Collaborate with technical team members to identify requirements and design product solutions
• Partner with Operations teams to drive operational efficiencies and scalability
• Advocate for product prioritization of high-value initiatives
• Interact with customers to analyze, validate, and document business needs
• Effectively communicate complex concepts to all levels of the organization
• Establish and maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive analysis

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the Deposits area within the Core product
• Experience working with banks or credit unions
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience with solving problems through technology
• Strong communication skills and outstanding active listening abilities
• Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Lucid, SQL, Postman
• Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Comp Sci or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in similar roles
