About the position

SiriusXM is seeking a Senior Product Owner for GTM Tools & Applications to join our Business Solutions System team. This role is pivotal in contributing to SiriusXM/Pandora's strategic initiatives, particularly focusing on the Sales CRM platform utilized by our Ad-Sales organization, which generates an impressive $1.5 billion in annual revenue. The ideal candidate will be a key player in the Salesforce Delivery & Operations team, dedicated to enhancing business value and operational efficiencies for end users through the effective use of Sales tools and applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact Ad Sales business stakeholder satisfaction and revenue generation by evaluating and implementing tool modifications, technologies, and processes that streamline our Ad sales operations. In this role, you will manage and serve as the product owner for our existing Sales Technology Stack, which includes tools such as ZoomInfo, Ringlead, DRIFT, SalesLoft, Winmo, MediaRadar, and Vivvix. Your primary responsibility will be to maximize the return on investment (ROI) for these sales tools by identifying business needs, addressing tool gaps, and holding vendors accountable for their performance. You will also dedicate 20% of your time to providing oversight and guidance to offshore Salesforce Administrators, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include understanding the end-to-end functionality of the tools, engaging with leadership across Ad Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations to identify new tools that can enhance revenue and operational efficiency, and managing the onboarding of new applications as well as the sunset process for existing applications. You will stay updated on industry trends and practices, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and collaborating with application vendors and the Salesforce delivery team to design and configure applications effectively. Additionally, you will document functional and non-functional requirements, create data flows and architecture diagrams, and manage vendor performance to ensure expected ROI. Responsibilities

  • Manage and serve as the product owner of the existing Sales Technology Stack including tools like ZoomInfo, Ringlead, DRIFT, SalesLoft, Winmo, MediaRadar, and Vivvix.
  • Maximize ROI for sales tools by identifying business needs, addressing tool gaps, and managing vendor performance.
  • Dedicate 20% of time to Salesforce oversight and guidance for offshore Admins.
  • Understand end-to-end functionality of tools and their configurations in the QTC sales processes as part of Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Engage with Ad Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations leadership to evaluate and identify new tools to increase Ad Sales revenue and operational efficiencies.
  • Drive and manage new application onboarding and existing application sunset processes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and practices, learning new tool functionalities after onboarding.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and collaborate with vendors and Salesforce delivery teams for optimal application design.
  • Document functional and non-functional requirements, functional design documents, data flows, architecture diagrams, test plans, and process documents.
  • Perform configuration during application onboarding or as part of ongoing improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and application vendors for Vendor Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and user training needs.
  • Hold application vendors accountable for providing expected ROI through performance management.
  • Manage new enhancements or features rollout available through regular upgrades for Sales Tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering from a top-tier college or university.
  • Minimum 5+ years in an analytical role (e.g., Certified Product Owner, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Business Analyst) in a fast-paced enterprise environment using Salesforce CRM and Sales Applications.
  • Experience with online or mobile advertising systems or Sales Tools, and understanding of media sales, sales marketing, or advertising Quote-to-Cash process is highly preferred.
  • Understanding of sales productivity tools such as ZoomInfo, Ringlead, DRIFT, SalesLoft, Winmo, MediaRadar, and Vivvix or other industry tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle & Agile/SCRUM methodology.
  • Experience with advertising systems or applications and understanding of media Ad sales, Ad sales marketing, or advertising Quote-to-Cash process is preferred.
  • Ability to understand complex business problems and interpret business and technical requirements.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and QTC processes is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Salesforce.com administrative tasks such as creating user profiles, roles, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules, reports, and dashboards is a MUST.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Team player with a positive and engaged personality, able to work with a high level of autonomy & trust.
  • Working understanding of Jira or other change management tools.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus.
  • Salesforce Lightning Knowledge and Salesforce Administrator Certifications are a plus.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
