About the position

Bolt On Technology is dedicated to empowering automotive repair businesses with innovative solutions that streamline shop management and enhance operational efficiency. Our products integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, providing automotive repair shops with tools for better business performance. We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to join our Product department. This role is crucial in guiding the product development process and ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. The Senior Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams, including leadership, product development, marketing, sales, and customer support, to drive the product roadmap and bring new features and products to market.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
• Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements from various stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Support, and direct customer feedback.
• Plan and prioritize the product feature backlog, development tasks, stories, epics, and themes to ensure the product focuses on delivering maximum value aligned with the product strategy.
• Work closely with the software engineering team to build, ship, and learn quickly from new features and products.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success departments to meet financial and customer satisfaction goals.
• Bring new SaaS features and products to market, working with sales and marketing to develop campaigns and assets to meet revenue targets.
• Collect and organize product feedback from various sources to continuously improve the product.
• Become a subject matter expert on the automotive aftermarket repair industry, including its business and payment models.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with SaaS or cloud products as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
• Proven track record of delivering products from the ground up.
• Experience with SMB products and payment technologies is desirable. Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Outstanding communication, planning, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical and data-driven, able to extract meaningful insights to make informed product decisions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to find process efficiencies.
• Collaborative style with a preference to lead with influence.
• Entrepreneurial enthusiasm and grit, always willing to roll up your sleeves.
• Thrive in a dynamic environment, ideally having experience in a rapidly growing company.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification.
• Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Aha!
• Understanding of UX principles and design thinking.
• Strong understanding of financial metrics and business modeling.
