About the position

The Senior Product Owner position is a critical role within the organization, primarily focused on maximizing the value of products developed by the scrum development team. This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, but may also involve travel to other locations including Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ. The Senior Product Owner will be responsible for managing the product backlog, ensuring that the development team is working on the most valuable features and enhancements. This involves a deep understanding of the product lifecycle and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet business goals. In this role, the Senior Product Owner will develop and foster relationships with business partners, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team. They will conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues and track remediation plans to ensure that all risks are addressed in a timely manner. The use of YubiKey for key authentication will be a significant aspect of this role, as will the management of identity lifecycle processes, identity proofing, and validation. The Senior Product Owner will also be expected to present business proposals effectively, utilizing their strong communication skills to convey complex information clearly to various audiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biometrics, cyber security, and identity management, with a proven track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced environment. They will be expected to leverage their technical skills to enhance product offerings and drive innovation within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the value of products created by the scrum development team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience required.
  • Strong technical skills in YubiKey, Identity Lifecycle Management, Identity Proofing and Validation, Multi-factor Authentication, and NIST 800-63.
  • Experience in business presentation proposals and biometrics/cyber/identity management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Ping Identity suite or similar tools.
  • Analytics reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience as a Product Owner.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
