About the position

The Senior Product Portfolio Manager for Industrials at Henkel is responsible for developing and executing the global product and portfolio strategy for the assigned portfolio. This role focuses on steering a profitable and sustainable portfolio while ensuring competitiveness through technology and market segment analysis. The manager will lead key strategic initiatives, oversee supply risk mitigation, and manage product cost activities, contributing to Henkel's mission of transforming industries with innovative adhesive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop global Product and Portfolio strategy & roadmap for assigned portfolio in alignment with Industrials (AMI) Strategy
• Steer towards a focused, profitable, and sustainable portfolio
• Ensure competitive portfolio from technology, application and market segment perspective including link to Innovation Strategy/ADP pipeline
• Initiate & lead implementation of key strategic initiatives e.g., product localization, transfer with regional Product Managers for assigned portfolio
• Oversee supply risk mitigation and product cost management activities

Requirements

• University degree in Chemistry, Supply Chain or Business Administration
• Minimum 5 years of working experience within product management, supply chain and/or project management
• Strong business acumen
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Strong influencing and convincing skills
• Capable to manage complex projects & lead cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Strong analytical and strategic skills
