About the position

The Senior Product Services & Management Analyst for EPIC plays a crucial role in supporting and enhancing products related to enterprise resource planning, budgeting, data warehousing, and financial reporting. This position requires collaboration with Finance and various vendors to ensure that all products and solutions are adequately supported. The analyst is responsible for ensuring that all products function optimally, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring that financial reports are produced accurately and in a timely manner. The role involves participating in the implementation or enhancement of products and solutions, adhering to a hybrid product/project development and implementation lifecycle. In this position, the analyst will support various financial systems within the portfolio, following a structured support model while delivering excellent customer service to all customers and end users. The analyst will analyze and troubleshoot production problems, escalating issues as necessary and executing solutions effectively. As a project/product lead, the analyst will manage larger, more complex projects and/or multiple projects and solutions, collaborating with multiple product teams, solution teams, IT and Business Product Managers, IT Business Solutions Leads, and other key stakeholders. The analyst will maintain direct responsibility for the successful outcome of assigned projects and solutions, interacting with end users to assist in collecting, documenting, and analyzing business requirements. Clear and timely communication with customers and end users is essential. The role also involves creating clear technical designs and specifications, developing solutions, and communicating requirements to external developers. The analyst will develop, coordinate, and execute detailed test plans, train end users, and document processes for knowledge transfer. Additionally, the analyst will identify and document solution-related risks and issues, providing guidance and documentation that includes scope of work, objectives, timelines, and quality of deliverables. Following established policies, the analyst will ensure that business requirements are appropriately translated and communicate risks to stakeholders. Staying current with new functionalities or technical offerings related to financial systems, as well as accounting concepts pertinent to healthcare finance, is also a key responsibility. The analyst will recommend and implement improvements to end-user processes as they relate to financial systems, operating under limited guidance and addressing moderately complex to complex issues that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, project management, and time management skills, preferred.
  • Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills, preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1-2 years Epic experience required
  • Previous Epic trainer experience or Epic certification would be a plus
  • Practice Operations experience is required
