About the position

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our team and lead strategic IT projects that enhance the client's technology infrastructure and support their logistics and supply chain operations. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects specifically related to logistics, including Warehousing and Distribution/3PL, and supply chain management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and timelines, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include managing project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful delivery within scope and budget constraints. You will identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize their impact on project delivery. As the primary point of contact for stakeholders, you will provide regular updates on project status and address any concerns or questions that may arise. Utilizing project management tools and methodologies, you will track project progress, manage tasks, and facilitate communication among team members. Additionally, you will stay current with industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain technology, applying your knowledge to drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes. This position requires a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and technologies, including warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory management systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects in the logistics and supply chain industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes and technologies, including warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management tools Asana/Jira.

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
