About the position

As the Senior Product Strategy Lead at TikTok, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our product teams. TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy to our users. In this position, you will act as a key strategic partner, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing creative and scalable improvements across various business lines. Your insights into both internal operations and the external market landscape will be crucial in shaping our strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for defining key performance metrics and setting KPIs that will guide our business growth. Tracking business progress and providing consistent optimization for our operations will be essential to ensure we are meeting our strategic goals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be a significant part of your role, as you will work together to build both short-term and long-term strategic plans and drive high-impact projects that align with our mission. Your role will also involve conducting thorough internal and external research, as well as competitor benchmarking, to provide solid support for business growth. By leveraging your analytical skills and strategic mindset, you will help empower our business teams at different stages of development, ensuring that TikTok remains at the forefront of the social media landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key strategic partner to identify opportunities for the product team's growth and drive creative and scalable improvements
  • Define key performance metrics and set KPIs to drive business growth
  • Track business progress and provide consistent optimization for the business operation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build short-term and long-term strategic plans and drive high-impact projects
  • Provide solid support for business growth through internal and external research and competitor benchmarking

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in strategy and analytics role
  • Strong Data Analysis skills, familiarity with commonly used data statistics and analysis methods, and understanding of the basic principles of recommendation algorithms
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to communicate and manage expectations across teams
  • Strong product management skills, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and ability to structure complex issues to drive insights
  • Experience in a social platform company and familiarity with the creator space
