About the position

The Senior Product Strategy Manager at Dr. Squatch is responsible for bringing new products to market and determining strategic investment areas for product categories. This role involves analyzing product performance, identifying market opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and category management. The position requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of consumer behavior to drive the business forward.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall performance of categories within the Dr. Squatch portfolio.
  • Analyze product performance and customer behavior to identify gaps in the existing portfolio and create strategic plans to address those gaps.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create and track revenue goals by product category and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Build out a backlog of potential initiatives for existing product categories and collaborate with the team to prioritize and execute them.
  • Identify new product categories with the highest potential and ensure successful research, development, launch, and customer adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional work experience with 3+ years in product strategy, brand management, or product-focused role in a consumer product company.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
