About the position

The Senior Product Trainer at LG Electronics is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-impact instructor-led training courses focused on business-specific processes, products, and systems. This role aims to enhance the understanding of LG products among retail sales associates and internal staff, fostering brand advocacy through effective training methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and delivers instructor-led training courses on business-specific processes and products.
• Coordinates training projects from start to finish, including tasks and timelines.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for instructional designers, eLearning developers, and technical writers.
• Reviews instructional designs, testing procedures, and technology.
• Populates system training or test regions with data for use in classes and provides client updates.
• Analyzes data and writes training summaries.
• Maintains subject matter expertise for assigned business areas through job shadowing and team meetings.
• Engages instructional designers for significant course redesigns and develops course content for focused topics.
• Consults with the business to identify performance gaps and generate innovative training solutions.
• Prepares for training classes by managing logistics such as class rosters, registrations, and equipment setup.
• Builds team structure and increases team efficiency by contributing to internal processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 5 years of training experience in a classroom setting
• Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, and communication skills
• Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Snag It, Paint Shop Pro, MS Visio
