About the position

The position involves leadership and team development, overseeing production processes, ensuring quality and compliance, optimizing processes, and strategic planning. The role requires direct supervision of various managers and their teams, fostering a high-performance culture, and implementing training programs to enhance team skills. The individual will oversee all production phases, ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with state regulations. The position also involves preparing reports, collaborating with the National Director-Production, and driving initiatives that align with long-term company goals.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and mentor Harvest Manager, Packaging Manager, Manufacturing Manager, QC Manager, and their respective teams.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and implement strategic training programs to enhance team skills.
• Oversee all production phases from harvest through to finished-goods processing.
• Ensure timely and compliant execution of all production and packaging tasks.
• Review and adjust labor production schedules based on departmental needs.
• Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures.
• Conduct thorough audits of batch records and inventory data.
• Lead efforts to streamline production processes and enhance productivity.
• Oversee the implementation of new technologies or methods.
• Create and manage packaging goals based on product availability.
• Prepare and review inventory and production reports.
• Ensure accurate and real-time updates to seed-to-sale systems.
• Collaborate with the National Director-Production to set and review production targets.
• Drive initiatives that align with long-term company goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent - Required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Production Management, or a related field - Preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in processing and cultivation experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in managing teams and optimizing production processes.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cannabis production processes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in production management software and seed-to-sale systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with plant tracking software, both PATC-approved and state-mandated.

Benefits

• 40 hour work weeks: Monday - Friday minimum requirement with additional days / hours as required.
