About the position

The Senior Professional Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Denver will engage in Indigenous evaluation and support the Native Food, Energy, Water Systems (FEWS) and Environmental Stewardship of Indigenous Lands (ESIL) Certificates. This role involves conducting assessments, developing programming, and providing administrative support while fostering relationships with students and community partners. The position operates in a hybrid work environment, allowing for both remote and in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Indigenous evaluation and interpretation of data
  • Develop and implement Indigenous evaluation methodologies
  • Provide programmatic and administrative support to the Native FEWS and ESIL Certificates
  • Engage in discussions around programming, development, and assessment
  • Lead evaluation research related to programming and student experience
  • Participate in in-person and online recruiting events
  • Respond to electronic communications
  • Attend and participate in meetings

Requirements

  • Master's degree in any discipline with engagement in diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • One year of experience developing diversity, equity, and inclusion programming
  • Experience developing and implementing Indigenous evaluation methodologies

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in evaluation report writing and presenting
  • Experience working with students in higher education
