Nike Sports Marketing professionals provide the vital linkage between the company and Nike-sponsored athletes, clubs and federations worldwide. Sports Marketing employees partner with premier athletes to collect insights about existing and future products, gather inspirational stories about sport and nurture long-term relationships between the athletes and the company. The team develops and executes sports marketing strategies, obtains endorsements and licensing agreements and serves as Nike ambassadors to the sports community worldwide. As part of Global Sports Marketing, the Senior Professional will be a critical component to the success and execution of strategies and building relationships within this Field of Play. This team mate will play a critical role in servicing our Trainers, order entry execution, and day to day portfolio management. As with all jobs in Sports Marketing, a proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented team mate will be foundational to this role. The ability to gain trust and build relationships with trainers, cross-functional partners, all while prioritizing multiple competing tasks and requests will be the keys to success. This team mate is a self-starter, embodies a team mentality, and is passionate about serving athletes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing product orders and day to day portfolio management.
  • Fielding product questions from Trainers and providing support.
  • Curating and shipping seasonal product packages and drops in a high touch manner.
  • Aiding with onboarding and assistance with Nike Elite, Aravo, and Nike Travel for Trainers.
  • Coordinating Trainer reimbursements and travel arrangements.
  • Collaborating with Global Fitness Sports Marketing and Geo Sports Marketing partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or closely related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years experience in brand marketing and/or sports marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations.
  • Experience in SAP order entry and Excel.
  • Ability to manage external partner communication and deliver both good and bad news effectively.
  • Ability to juggle multiple time sensitive priorities while providing transparent communication across and within teams.
  • Excitement, passion, and/or curiosity within the Fitness space.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
  • Genuine appreciation and connection to Product.
  • A creative thinker with a desire to continuously evolve the way we deliver Briefs to our Trainers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Keynote, Zoom, Google Suite, and Box.
  • Contributing to the broader Women's Sports Marketing Team inclusive of product support, event support, and athlete interaction.
  • Cross-functional integration experience with Global CDM, Brand, BMPM, Product, and Activity.
