About the position

The Senior Program Analyst position at the FAA's William J. Hughes Technical Center involves providing advisory and analytical support to enhance the operational efficiency of the FAA Air Traffic Organization. The role requires a blend of program analysis, project management, and administrative functions, with a focus on strategic planning and execution of program goals. The analyst will work closely with the FAA's PMO and will be responsible for developing reports, managing schedules, and facilitating communication among senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advisory and analytical support for development of strategies, planning, and implementation activities.
  • Build, maintain, and analyze schedules and budgets.
  • Support in planning, developing, and implementing strategic plans and schedules.
  • Develop, coordinate, and obtain senior level management input and approval for planning agendas and logistics.
  • Monitor program goals and provide activity target updates to executive leadership.
  • Develop strategic plans and provide strategic planning consulting to improve PMO oversight.
  • Analyze weekly/monthly reports on business and program-related metrics.
  • Perform ad-hoc program analyst and strategic planning tasks as requested.
  • Utilize SharePoint for project management and documentation.
  • Manage meetings and coordinate logistics.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals.
  • Build relationships with individual programs and PMO leadership.
  • Develop SOPs, guides/manuals, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
  • Formulate agendas, briefings, presentations, and other supporting artifacts.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in business or related fields from an accredited university
  • 5 years or more of related experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Previous FAA experience with the NAS/PMO
