About the position
The Senior Program Analyst, Cost at Semper Valens Solutions is responsible for performing comprehensive cost estimating, analysis, and research for weapons systems. This role supports program decision-making and funding through detailed cost analysis and forecasting, while also contributing to various program management processes. The position requires collaboration with engineering and management teams to ensure effective lifecycle cost analysis and budget execution.
Responsibilities
- Perform weapons system cost estimating, analysis, and research in complex problem areas.
- Conduct cost analysis to create products for program decision-making and funding.
- Align cost element breakdowns and perform base year and then year cost forecasts.
- Support system engineering, program management, risk management, and process-based methodology with lifecycle cost analysis and metrics management.
- Assist in the Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution (PPBE) process with analytical assessments and documentation development.
- Report to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army - Cost and Economics office on program cost estimating.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least ten (10) years of experience managing government programs is required.
- Five (5) years of direct experience with verbal and written communication, including presentations to senior management.
- Familiarity with ACE-IT software and Army Cost Estimating standards or equivalent.
