The Global Fleet and Products organization at Amazon is tasked with managing and enhancing the Last Mile Fleet, ensuring that it operates at peak efficiency and safety. We are seeking a Senior Program Manager who will play a pivotal role in guaranteeing world-class vehicle safety and ensuring that all vehicles in the Amazon Fleet are 100% mission capable. This position involves guiding strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology-related projects and programs that have a significant impact across multiple organizations within Amazon. In this role, the Senior Program Manager will lead the full life-cycle of complex cross-functional projects and programs. This includes working autonomously to understand various business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and the rationale behind leadership decisions. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring and managing performance against daily metrics, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Delivery Station Fleets, and ensuring that the vehicles are the safest and fully mission capable in the industry. Collaboration is key in this role, as the Senior Program Manager will partner with Amazon Operations leaders, Delivery Service Partners (DSP), and program teams to achieve overarching business goals. Engaging with Operations and DSP teams to implement standard work and best practices will be essential. The role also requires maintaining accountability to Fleet standards through in-station presence, conducting audits, and providing coaching to team members. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will synchronize efforts with third-party companies to ensure that Best in Class service is consistently delivered to the Amazon Fleet. This position will require travel up to 50% to various delivery stations within the region, supporting the Tennessee region and surrounding areas in the United States. The permanent worksite for this role will be located in the Atlanta market, and there is no flexibility in location at this time.
