The Global Fleet and Products organization at Amazon is tasked with the management and growth of the Last Mile Fleet, ensuring that the fleet operates at peak efficiency and safety. The organization is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager who will play a pivotal role in ensuring world-class vehicle safety and maintaining 100% mission-capable vehicles for the Amazon Fleet. This position involves guiding strategic, tactical, cross-functional, and technology-related projects and programs that have a significant impact across multiple organizations within Amazon. In this role, the Senior Program Manager will lead the full life-cycle of complex cross-functional projects and programs. This includes working autonomously to understand various business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and the rationale behind leadership decisions. The individual will be responsible for measuring and managing performance against daily metrics, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Delivery Station Fleets, and ensuring that the vehicles are the safest and fully mission capable. Collaboration is key in this position, as the Senior Program Manager will partner with Amazon Operations leaders, Delivery Service Partners (DSP), and program teams to achieve overarching business goals. Engaging with Operations and DSP teams to establish standard work and best practices will be essential. The role also requires maintaining accountability to Fleet standards through in-station presence, conducting audits, and providing coaching. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will synchronize efforts with third-party companies to ensure that Best in Class service is delivered to the Amazon Fleet. This position will require travel to delivery stations within the region, estimated at 50%. The individual will primarily support the TN region and surrounding areas in the US, with a permanent worksite located in the Atlanta market, where no location flexibility is available at this time.
