About the position

The Senior Program Manager - Chewy Advertising is responsible for identifying and driving programs that enhance Chewy's Retail Media operations. This role focuses on budget coordination, vendor management, and optimizing sales operations while collaborating cross-functionally with various departments to streamline business processes and implement effective margin improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate budgets across constituents ensuring accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve profit margins across the organization.
  • Develop and implement programs to address margin improvement opportunities at scale.
  • Work closely with product, marketing, and finance teams to align priorities and implement initiatives effectively.
  • Supervise progress on margin improvement initiatives and report on key metrics to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners to drive alignment and secure agreement for initiatives.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Chewy's business operations and financial drivers to inform strategic decisions.
  • Leverage Salesforce.com to manage sales processes, track performance, and generate insights for decision-making.
  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities for team members and develop training curricula.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in business operations, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably within a retail or media environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
