The Global Digital, OMNI & Guest Support team at lululemon is responsible for managing the company's global online and omni channels, including the website, mobile apps, retail technology, call center, digital user experience, digital products, and analytics. This team plays a crucial role in partnering with technology and retail teams to enhance the overall customer experience. Within this team, the Portfolio Governance and Planning function is essential for effective planning and governance of initiatives across all Global Digital, OMNI, and Guest Support portfolios, working closely with technology and business partners. As the Senior Program Manager for Digital Portfolio Management, you will support the Global Digital, OMNI & Guest Support Portfolio by enabling key programs and cross-functional initiatives. Your responsibilities will include implementing a governance model and strategic planning programs to facilitate alignment and executive decision-making. You will manage the long-range planning framework and processes, ensuring that the long-term strategy is connected to the annual operating plan. Additionally, you will assist the senior leadership team in prioritizing initiatives and programs to achieve our long-term goals, develop key planning deliverables for informed decision-making, and optimize dependency management and planning processes in collaboration with other functional leaders and technology stakeholders. You will also be responsible for creating job families and other deliverables to establish the Portfolio Governance and Planning function, while developing innovative program management methodologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Digital, OMNI & Guest Support Portfolio to enable key programs and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Implement a governance model and cross-functional strategic planning programs to enable alignment and executive decision making.
  • Manage and implement long-range planning framework and processes to connect long-term strategy to annual operating plan.
  • Enable and optimize the annual operating plan process in partnership with FP&A and technology partners.
  • Assist the senior leadership team in the prioritization and governance of initiatives and programs to ensure attainment of our long-term strategy.
  • Develop and prepare roll-up view of key planning deliverables (e.g. LRP, OKR, AOP) for senior leadership team to make informed decisions.
  • Optimize and enable a common dependency management, intake and quarterly planning process in partnership with other functional portfolio leaders and technology stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of job families and other deliverables to stand up and enable Portfolio Governance and Planning function.
  • Develop and iterate innovative program management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Partner with other functional portfolio leaders, teams and technology stakeholders to co-create a standard and consistent governance model.

Requirements

  • Minimum BA / BS degree from a four-year accredited university in business operations or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience related to strategic planning, long-range planning, program management, or management consulting, preferably in vertically integrated, global, retail environments.
  • Experience working with systems and/or with technical teams seen as an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into simple narratives and recommendations for senior executive leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and cross-functional relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to drive results independently and collaboratively as a team player.
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, self-starter, and results-driven.
