About the position

The Senior Supply Chain Program Manager role at Microsoft is pivotal in supporting the growth of the Cloud business by ensuring the readiness of new cloud solutions through a structured supply chain framework. Responsibilities

  • Oversee supply chain readiness for new cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define an NPI readiness strategy.
  • Conduct risk management efforts and provide insights for schedule acceleration opportunities.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses and other analytics to influence decisions.
  • Understand the product's technical attributes, milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies.
  • Engage effectively with Engineering to align on schedule, risk, issues, quality, and product changes.
  • Apply process where it creates value and design processes where needed in ambiguous situations.
  • Utilize program management tools to ensure stakeholder accountability to the schedule.
  • Influence across organizational boundaries to achieve business goals through early lifecycle engagement.
  • Scale NPI processes to increase clarity and simplify execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, program management, hardware development, or consumer electronics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain, High-tech Manufacturing, New Product Introduction, Sourcing, Operations or related fields.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in high-tech supply chain, new product introduction, sourcing, operations or related fields.
  • Experience in program management at a high-tech company with a proven track record.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead in ambiguous situations and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Proficient in business tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Cloud supply chain experience.
