About the position

The Senior Program Manager is a key role in the Engineering team at HealthEdge, responsible for managing complex development projects across various teams. This position requires strong leadership to ensure alignment between customer and internal teams, delivering high-quality products on time. The role involves guiding executive leadership on project timelines, budgets, and risks, while also serving as the primary contact for customers throughout the implementation process.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the implementation process.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding and management of the entire implementation project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with customers to meet their expectations.
  • Coordinate the projects and their interdependencies.
  • Define and establish a robust program governance framework to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage the program's budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost controls.
  • Monitor overall project status, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Manage the main program documentation such as the program initiation document.
  • Align the deliverables to the program's outcome with the aid of the business change manager.
  • Quickly identify and communicate potential risks to stakeholders.
  • Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies and undertake corrective measures as necessary to keep the program on track.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach to drive the success of the new product's implementation.
  • Develop and refine implementation templates and processes to streamline and ensure consistent and efficient deployment.
  • Mentor and guide the team in adopting these templates as standard practices for future projects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in project management with progressively increasing scope and complexity.
  • Proven experience as an implementation program manager, preferably with experience in deploying new products to market.
  • Strong background in customer interactions and implementation lifecycle management.
  • Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques.
  • Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program.
  • Ability to work positively with a wide range of individuals involved in program management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
  • Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
