About the position

The Senior Program Manager at Hexagon Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial is responsible for leading large-scale software implementations within the Public Safety division. This role involves overseeing all aspects of project implementation, managing customer relationships, and ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget. The Program Manager will coordinate a diverse team, facilitate communication, and resolve issues to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Hexagon representative to customer partners
• Effectively manage projects to deliver on time, on cost, and according to client quality expectations
• Develop project plans, including scope, budget, deliverables, schedule, and project team responsibilities
• Coordinate work and provide instructions, advice, leadership, and guidance to team members
• Review work in progress and assess completed work for accuracy and quality
• Ensure timely and accurate communication between project team members, management, and customers
• Facilitate the resolution of issues and escalations
• Participate in project scoping activities, including producing and/or validating LOEs and SOWs
• Prepare customer-facing and internal status and financial reporting
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or commensurate documented experience in a similar role
• PMI PMP or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years project management experience implementing large software implementations
• Prior experience managing complex technical projects and programs, preferably in Public Safety
• Strong written and oral communication and critical thinking skills
• Intermediate to senior level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project proficiency
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented mindset
• Eager, passionate, and professional ownership of all aspects of project management
