About the position

The Senior Program Manager - Stakeholder Engagement will focus on managing client stakeholder engagement for the Meetings & Events program within Amazon's Travel & Events organization. This role is pivotal in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders globally, ensuring their unique needs are understood and addressed while driving program improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with communicators and functional leaders to align content and advocacy efforts.
  • Provide strategic consult to program communicators for aligning program content with stakeholder decision-making points.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify and prioritize key stakeholders and their interests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries and coordination efforts.
  • Craft and deliver strategic communications for stakeholders, including presentations and reports.
  • Develop messaging frameworks to enhance stakeholder awareness of the Meetings & Events program.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and engagement activities, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Work closely with project teams to align stakeholder engagement activities with project goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance engagement efforts.
  • Provide training and support to staff on stakeholder engagement best practices.
  • Lead the development of new service lines for clients, including core functions and key outcomes.
  • Identify service, communication, and process improvement opportunities throughout the program.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan aligning the Meetings & Events program to GREF IFM stakeholders.
  • Drive innovative solutions in services based on stakeholder feedback and needs.
  • Lead the implementation of best practices and innovations.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence and Data Analytic tools to uncover hidden value.
  • Support the development and delivery of training and coaching plans for program professionals.
  • Review current service support models for accuracy and reliability of delivery.
  • Lead all Events functions across the region, ensuring service levels and standards are met.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Facilities Management or Program Management role.
  • Subject Matter Expert in managing marketing activations, meetings, and events services.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to define and execute change strategies.
  • Experience with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
  • Effective resource management and project management skills.
