Amazon Air is seeking a Senior Program Manager (Sr. PM) who possesses exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of delivering results. This role involves owning and executing strategic, ambiguous, and cross-functional projects across Global Strategic Programs. The team is composed of leaders who are dedicated to building a roadmap that enables Amazon Air to scale its business, drive innovation, and accelerate sustainability initiatives. The Sr. PM will play a crucial role in implementing Program Management Office (PMO) best practices, scoping large projects, tracking project timelines, and developing effective communication mechanisms for senior management regarding project status, risks, and business challenges. In this fast-paced environment, the Sr. PM will be responsible for implementing and governing a standardized set of PMO processes and supporting tools for managing the AIR portfolio of high-visibility programs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a Day One environment and be eager to contribute to the Amazon Air team. Additionally, the Sr. PM will innovate to enhance project scope and execution, aiming to improve customer outcomes, reduce sustainability impacts, and lower end-to-end supply chain costs. Escalating risks in the project plan and navigating through ambiguity are essential aspects of this role, as is the ability to manage multiple project assignments simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
