About the position

The Senior Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions that address business challenges in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role emphasizes influence over authority, requiring strong collaboration and communication skills to drive projects from initiation to delivery while ensuring they meet budget and schedule constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scopes and plan schedules focusing on automation and efficiency.
  • Organize and lead project status and working meetings.
  • Prepare and distribute progress reports.
  • Manage risks and issues, correcting deviations from plans.
  • Perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
  • Collaborate with partners in program and product management, operations, and engineering to build solutions that meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a hands-on technical project/program manager, preferably in a related industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience interacting with business and engineering staff at all levels.
  • Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills to handle competing demands.
  • Strong knowledge of business needs and ability to maintain customer trust and confidence.
  • Experience with technical design discussions and summarizing complex trade-offs in documentation.
  • Ability to represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations and executive leadership.
  • Experience working across multiple geographies and cultures.

Nice-to-haves

  • 7 to 10 years of project management, product design, or related experience.
  • Experience managing cloud development or operational projects.
  • Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services such as Compute, Storage, Identity, and Networking.
  • Experience in cloud operations.
