About the position

The Senior Program Manager for Energy Efficiency at ICF will lead and grow the company's energy efficiency programs. This role involves developing and managing energy efficiency initiatives, building client relationships, mentoring junior team members, and designing effective program strategies. The position emphasizes program implementation, operational management, and driving energy performance improvements through innovative technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and management of energy efficiency programs.
  • Design and implement program strategies and plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the contract, serving as the main point of contact for the client.
  • Develop and execute detailed implementation and management plans for programs.
  • Conduct quality control and program evaluation.
  • Manage program forecasts, goals, and budgets, providing regulatory support.
  • Drive businesses towards the implementation of energy performance improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Resources, Sciences, Policy, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in developing, designing, and administering energy efficiency and demand reduction programs, particularly in HVAC and Weatherization sectors.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team, either in-house or virtually.
