About the position

The Senior Program Manager at Hidden Level will play a crucial role in managing and driving technical programs to enhance airspace safety through innovative drone detection technology. This position involves leading project execution, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external customers. The role is based in Syracuse, NY, with potential for a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of projects and programs.
  • Develop and maintain schedules and coordinate resources to meet program objectives.
  • Facilitate the removal of barriers, coordination of dependencies, and management of risk and opportunities.
  • Track program cost and deliverables to achieve contractual compliance and meet budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers for assigned programs.
  • Communicate routine project status, risk assessments, and issues internally and externally, adapting to new challenges or changing requirements.
  • Prepare and facilitate internal and external meetings.
  • Assist with authoring responses to requests for information and proposals.
  • Evaluate and plan new opportunities, serving as a bridge between technical and business goals.
  • Create cost estimates, generate BOEs, and evaluate staffing requirements for projects and programs.
  • Manage program and customer success, working closely with the engineering team to solve technical challenges.
  • Interface with all functional groups to understand complete program status and recommend solutions.
  • Decompose evolving customer and market needs into technical action plans.
  • Act as an effective decision-maker and leader, balancing priorities effectively.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7 or more years of related experience.
  • Experience with cost estimating, BOE generation, schedule, and budget management.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3 or more years of proven technical project or product management experience.
