About the position

The Senior Program Manager at Astrion will support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program within the C3I and Infrastructure Division at Hanscom AFB, MA. This role involves advanced knowledge of DoD acquisition strategies, leadership in program management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful program execution. The position is hybrid and full-time, focusing on optimizing performance and ensuring success across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced DoD acquisition strategy and documentation knowledge, including standards and procedures defined in DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101.
• Identify acquisition strategy issues and propose alternative solutions.
• Assist with strategic level issues and work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
• Demonstrate leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
• Manage ACAT I level programs, including the development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
• Develop RFP documentation and support Acquisition Strategy reviews.
• Package and present briefings for senior level reviews.
• Support program management reviews, senior level meetings/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
• Initiate and manage high visibility programs.
• Oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline.
• Support Source Selections.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 5 years in DoD.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Active US security clearance.
