About the position

The Senior Program Manager will oversee a team of five, including Transition Managers and Project Administrators, for a large telecommunications project. This role involves close collaboration with a government client to ensure effective program delivery and communication of updates to executive personnel regarding the transition of 30,000 end users to new PC-based phone systems across 82 sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of Transition Managers and Project Administrators.
• Collaborate closely with the government end client to meet their needs.
• Ensure the program runs effectively to meet deliverables.
• Brief executive level personnel on project updates.
• Develop, maintain, and integrate project plans.

Requirements

• PMP certification
• Ability to get processed for a Public Trust
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience overseeing multifaceted projects and briefing higher level executives
• Experience developing, maintaining, and integrating project plans
• Proficient using Microsoft Project
