About the position

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for overseeing complex projects and programs related to corporate change initiatives within the financial markets department. This role serves as the primary contact for department managers, ensuring effective communication and negotiation to leverage resources and align results with program strategy and capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex initiatives involving multiple business lines and applications, delivering significant people, process, and technology changes.
• Manage programs/projects that impact how the company operates and delivers products or services.
• Serve as the primary contact for senior department managers regarding critical change initiatives.
• Communicate, influence, and negotiate across various levels to obtain necessary resources.
• Analyze current processes, develop future-state approaches, and facilitate implementation.
• Create a coherent approach for effective program setup, execution, and control.
• Define responsibilities and accountabilities for key program/project roles.
• Integrate knowledge of end-to-end business processes into program planning and decision-making.
• Develop, maintain, and report on an overall integrated delivery plan.
• Utilize excellent project management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• 8 years of experience leading people, process, and technology projects across multiple lines of business.
• Strong background in managing and driving complex initiatives.
• Proven critical thinking skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of banking operations and processes.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP certification
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Confluence, Jira, and SAFe Agile methodologies.
