Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in application programming.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong background in designing, developing, testing, and implementing a full project life cycle.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve interface and technical issues.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of HL7 standards.
• Experience with Lyniate Rhapsody or comparable integration engine.
• Experience with RHEL operating system and proficiency in shell scripting.
• Familiarity with API web-based applications.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, FHIR.
• Proficient in MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with IT, ancillary departments, and vendors on interface projects.
• Analyze and develop new interface applications from specifications.
• Document all development efforts following established policies and procedures.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and privacy of information accessed.
• Participate in interface engine upgrades.
• Provide support for the interface engine as part of a 24x7 on-call rotation.
