About the position

The Senior Project Configuration and Change Manager at Alstom is responsible for leading Configuration and Change Management activities within high-critical projects. This role ensures the quality, consistency, and traceability of engineering deliverables while collaborating with various teams across the organization. The position emphasizes accountability in applying the Configuration and Change Management (CCM) process and managing project configuration throughout its lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Project/Program stakeholders apply the CCM process.
• Keep the project/program configuration under control and manage changes during the whole lifecycle.
• Ensure activities and Roles & Responsibilities defined in the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) are applied and followed.
• Master the quality of deliveries by ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability of the delivered products and services.
• Ensure all functional representatives involved in their Project are trained on CCM.
• Report and escalate any CCM related issues within the Project / Program organization and propose possible solutions.
• Ensure Configuration and Change Management applicable tools are applied.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering/Project Management/Business Management or equivalent.
• Experience or understanding of Configuration & Change Management and its impact on project delivery.
• Familiarity with CCM tools such as ALM, Clear Quest, Clear Case SAP, PLM, AEC-tpPLM, etc.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all involved project/program stakeholders.
• Trained in a recognized Configuration and Change Management standard (CMII Certificate desirable).
• Systematic, rigorous, and proactive approach, with strong attention to detail.
