About the position

The Senior Project Coordinator at Bombardier plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating project activities within the aviation sector. This position involves working closely with internal and external partners to ensure the successful completion of project milestones, while also analyzing data to drive actionable insights. Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Bombardier General Work Rules.
  • Responsible for analysis to drive actions within Bombardier internal partners for completion of milestones performed by employees of 3rd party.
  • Develop and monitor metrics/KPIs of internal/external Bombardier partners.
  • Conduct data analysis of required information/data.
  • Serve as primary point-of-contact in daily communications, coordinating and following up on quotes, preliminary invoices, progress updates, approvals, and debriefs on work packages and performance of 3rd party employees.
  • Perform Project Management duties for assigned scope of work, including identification of potential risks and management of constraints.
  • Facilitate status meetings with all departments and leadership as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an aircraft maintenance environment or substantial similar experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of project management experience or substantial similar experience.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory governance (FAA, EASA, or Transport Canada) for parts 91, 121, 135 & 145.
  • Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance programs.
  • Working knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety rules and regulations as they apply to workplace safety and environmental aspects of aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, management, and other departments.
  • Customer service skills necessary to modify communication, tone, and presentation to defuse crisis situations with internal and external customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize, and coordinate workload within a multiple project setting.
  • Characteristics of leadership, perseverance, entrepreneurship, and innovation skills.
  • Effective presentation skills with the ability to conduct meetings at a professional level.
  • Ability to travel if needed, both nationally and internationally.
  • Computer skills necessary to operate Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) as well as email and other software and web-based applications.
