About the position

As a Project Engineer in Land Development at WSB, you will take a lead design role on various private development projects, guiding them through the local approval process. This role involves working on a range of projects from large master planned communities to small commercial sites, leading multi-disciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. You will also engage in marketing efforts to secure new work and develop strategies to increase market share.

Responsibilities

• Lead design role on multiple private development projects.
• Guide projects through the local approval process.
• Work on large master planned communities and small commercial sites.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and budget.
• Assist senior project manager on larger projects to deliver client value.
• Plan, direct, track, and coordinate all project activities.
• Market and secure work from new and existing clients.
• Formulate strategies for increasing market share.
• Lead the proposal process when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar field from an accredited school.
• Five or more years of experience in civil engineering and land development.
• Minnesota PE license or ability to obtain within twelve months.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Excellent advocacy, communication, and organizational skills.
