Responsibilities

• Engineer, size, and layout structural steel for platforms, mezzanines, support and header steel.
• Develop kip load studies on new and existing facilities.
• Detail structural steel for fabrication packages.
• Work with PE to develop all required calculations for stamping.
• Support other engineering services in the company as needed.
• Lead field teams for structural steel field checks.

Requirements

• Prior experience with structural engineering and detailing required.
• Ability to work in teams or individually.
• Strong problem-solving ability required.
• Must have the ability to adapt to different types of projects.

Nice-to-haves

• AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Revit experience preferred.
• Advanced Steel experience preferred.
