About the position

The position involves reviewing, analyzing, managing, and resolving field coordination issues in collaboration with project team members. The role supports management in financial, procurement, and cost issues, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and schedule. The expected outcome is to produce high-quality work while meeting established standards and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons.
  • Implement the pre-construction quality plan and obtain necessary construction permits.
  • Develop and maintain various logs and reports including Submittal log and Non-Conformance Report.
  • Manage all aspects of testing and inspection processes for the construction quality management program.
  • Manage submittals and ensure timely approvals from customers/architects.
  • Develop and distribute RFIs and Change Orders, incorporating subcontractor documentation.
  • Coordinate safety and compliance for all team members.
  • Mentor and evaluate field engineers and entry-level project engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two to four years related experience.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks.
  • Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.
