About the position

The PENTA Building Group is seeking Senior Project Engineers to join their team in the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles County. This role focuses on managing project documentation and coordinating subcontractors while promoting a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities

• Initialize project document logs (RFIs, Drawings, Submittals, etc.)
• Track status and obtain permits to ensure no disruption in the construction schedule
• Assist Superintendent and Safety Director with the creation of a project-specific safety plan
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to create the Master Project Schedule
• Coordinate and track the distribution and storage of all project engineering documents, including drawing sets, specifications, sketches, ASIs, permits, etc.
• Coordinate with the Project Safety Manager and Project Superintendent to promote job-site safety
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent to maintain the Master Project Schedule

Requirements

• 3-6 years of Project Engineer experience in Construction
• California HCAI/OSHPD project experience is a plus
• Flexibility to travel to project sites within Los Angeles County and the surrounding areas
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, preferred
