About the position

The Marketing Communications position at Lee Health Corporate Center is a full-time, exempt role focused on promoting the health system and its services to enhance community image and drive volume. The successful candidate will design and implement marketing initiatives that align with the strategic business plan, targeting various programs, service lines, and physicians. This role requires collaboration with multiple departments and system leaders to provide marketing recommendations that support organizational goals. As a liaison between the Marketing department and requestors, the individual will manage expectations, provide updates, and track projects from inception to completion. This includes coordinating with writers, graphic designers, vendors, and community partners to ensure that all marketing materials adhere to required guidelines and meet strategic objectives within designated timeframes. The position also involves coordinating events with Press & Public Affairs to keep them informed of initiatives that may attract media interest. A solid background in marketing, communication, production management, and campaign development is essential. The candidate must possess knowledge of competitors, market conditions, and healthcare industry trends that could impact marketing outcomes. Staying updated on local, regional, and national marketing trends is crucial for providing informed opinions on marketing concepts. The ability to understand financial influences and develop strategies that promote Lee Health's services while building market share and customer loyalty is also required. Additionally, the candidate will participate in multi-disciplinary committees and task forces to achieve system goals and promote various service lines, including those related to pediatrics and physicians.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. or equivalent education required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare marketing experience required.
  • Experience working with physicians and physician administration across multiple healthcare disciplines preferred.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suites.
  • Ability to execute on multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail, deadlines, and accuracy.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in production management and campaign development.
  • Knowledge of local, regional, and national marketing trends.
